Self-confessed VW fanatic and Delinte Ambassador Jamie Orr has driven Delinte’s D7 and DS8 tires over a combined 3 continents, in over 15 countries, for over 30,000 miles. As Jamie says, “I may have tested Delinte tires more than anyone else on the planet”!

Jamie’s VW Atlas Cross Sport featuring Delinte D7 All-Season UHP Tires

Jamie Orr put Delinte’s D7 UHP to the test on his VW Atlas Cross Sport. Delinte’s D7 is one of Delinte’s best All-Season Ultra-High Performance tires available, in a wide range of staggered fitments and H, V, W & Y speed ratings, perfect for drivers who push their builds to the max and need precision handling and control. The D7 tire’s performance features also include a solid center contact patch which grips the road and enhances traction and boosts fuel efficiency, and a V-Slope groove design of four wide tread grooves that efficiently evacuate water, and reduce road noise, for a quiet ultra-high performance ride. The D7 tire is also constructed with a D-Tech Silica compound, which maximizes traction and increases wear resistance, and is M+S Rated, demonstrating that it maintains traction in snowy and muddy conditions. Delinte backs up this tire with their D-Shield 40K Mileage Warranty and Road Hazard Coverage.

On his Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport VR6, Jamie tested out the D7 tires on a drive across Europe, including on the German Autobahn and the Nürburgring Nordschleife. The VW Atlas Cross Sport is a shorter, lighter version of the VW Atlas SUV, with a sporty hatchback, in contrast to the Altas, which is a mid-size SUV and features a 3rd row and more cargo space. Are VW Atlas vehicles reliable? Make sure to find Jamie Orr at SEMA 2024 and ask him! He’s sure to have some great stories and insight to share about his journeys with the Atlas.

Jamie Orr’s VW Atlas Harlequin featuring Delinte DS8 All-Season UHP Tires

On Jamie Orr’s VW 2021 Atlas Harlequin, painted with colorful panels to celebrate the original VW Golf Harlequin’s 50th anniversary, Jamie tested the performance and life of Delinte’s DS8 All-Season UHP tire. In a pan-South American journey that took him across the Andes mountains to Tierra del Fuego, and then multiple times across the United States, including to the Hoonigan booth for SEMA 2021, the DS8 All-Season Ultra-High Performance tires showed they could go the distance, with features specifically designed for control and traction, and multiple staggered fitment options for more versatility.

Delinte’s DS8 tire is rated for performance with speed ratings of H, V, W & Y, and is designed with a Big Block tread pattern that maximizes contact with the road while wide open-throttle driving, and evacuates water fast for optimized driving performance. Unique angled tread slots move rain and snow out of the tire grooves for better control in wet conditions, and the DS8’s M+S Rating ensures that it maintains traction in muddy and snowy conditions, making it a top-notch All-Season Ultra-High Performance tire. This tire also comes with Delinte’s D-Shield 50K Mileage Warranty and Road Hazard Coverage.
